NightDrop · San Diego · The Delivery Flow

From Your Phone.
To Your Door.
Never a Store Visit.

Place an order from /shop between 11pm and 4am. A hired San Diego driver picks it up in a plain, unbranded box, you follow it on a private /track link, and it lands at your door with no store visit and no judgment.

Everything about this service was designed around one promise: the package should never reveal anything you didn't choose to share. We don't run a public storefront with a lit-up sign. We don't send a labeled truck. The box doesn't say NightDrop. The receipt stays out of the delivery. Your courier gets a name, an address, and a phone — they don't see your card, your email history, or anything else about you.

The lane is 11pm to 4am, the radius is 30 miles around downtown San Diego, and the only thing our team learns about any given order is what it takes to pack the box and bring it to the door.

The Flow

Three steps. No call center, no checkout huddle, no retail floor — and no one watching you walk out of a store at 1am.

01STEP

You Order

Pick from /shop between 11pm and 4am. Stripe handles the checkout — plain form, no signup wall, no account creation. A confirmation email arrives in your inbox immediately with a private /track link scoped just to your order.

02STEP

A Hired Driver Picks It Up, Plain

A plain, unmarked box. No NightDrop logo. No product names on the outside. The driver grabs it from our local staging point inside the same 30-mile radius — they already know the run, they already know San Diego, and they're hired through our driver pipeline with a background check and a magic-link dashboard.

03STEP

It Lands at Your Door. You Follow It. No Judgment.

Status updates slide in on your private /track/[orderId] link — order received → out for delivery → delivered. The driver texts when they're two minutes out. Ring at the door, hand off the box, done. No conversation. No sign-in. No follow-up survey.

What the Flow Won't Do

No Store Visit

The whole experience lives on your phone. You never walk into a shop, never stand in line, never queue behind someone at 1am — and the only people who know you placed an order are you, Stripe, and the driver we assigned.

No Branding on Packaging

The box is plain. The label is generic. There is no NightDrop logo on the outside, no product names, no category hints — your neighbors see a sealed package, not what's inside it.

Couriers, Not Uniforms

The person at your door isn't wearing a NightDrop uniform and isn't driving a labeled truck. They're a hired San Diego driver running a private delivery from a local staging point — the same lane every night, the same neighborhood as you.

Ready When You Are.

The window opens at 11pm. The catalog is on /shop.
